Jail time for mother who used baby as weapon
Erie, Pennsylvania — The sentence is five to 10 years in prison for a Pennsylvania woman who was convicted of swinging her newborn son like a weapon at her boyfriend, fracturing the baby's skull.
The woman, Chytoria Graham, had been fighting with her boyfriend after a night of drinking. She grabbed the four-week-old boy by his feet and swung him, hitting the boyfriend.
The baby has recovered and is living with Graham's family.
A jury in Erie convicted Graham of aggravated assault, child endangerment and other charges. Her lawyer says she plans to appeal.
